What are Shots of Valour?

Shots of Valour are 60ml functional health shots made from real natural ingredients. Every shot in our range is built around a specific health benefit. Every ingredient is chosen because the science backs it up. Nothing is in our bottles for show.

How are your shots different from other brands?

Most health shot brands charge a premium for ingredients that cost pennies to produce. We don't. Shots of Valour was built on one belief — that looking after yourself shouldn't cost a fortune. Our shots contain more of the quality ingredients that you deserve without being ripped off for wanting to feel good.

Are the health benefits real?

Yes — and we can prove every single one. Every health claim we make is backed by published scientific research and approved under UK nutrition and health claim regulations. We don't make things up to sell shots. If we say an ingredient does something, it does something.

What do they taste like?

Honest answer — you'll feel them. These are not subtle drinks designed to sit nicely on a supermarket shelf. They are made to work and you will know about it when you drink one. Each shot has its own distinct flavour profile built around its hero ingredients — from the fierce heat of The Bulwark to the tropical tart of Neuron Charger.

Are your shots vegan?

Yes. All Shots of Valour products are suitable for vegans with the exception of any shots containing raw honey. If you require a fully vegan product please contact us and we will advise. 

Are your shots gluten free?

Yes. All Shots of Valour products are naturally gluten free.

Do your shots contain any of the 14 UK allergens?

Our shots are naturally free from most major allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, soya and nuts. However please note the following:

The Bulwark contains raw honey which is not suitable for infants under 12 months.

How are your shots produced?

We use a two‑stage production process designed to protect both safety and ingredient quality.

First, the core juice components are blended and preserved using High‑Pressure Processing (HPP). HPP is a cold‑pressure technique that neutralises harmful microbes without heat, allowing us to retain the natural flavour, colour, and nutritional profile of the juices.

Once this base is stabilised, we carefully add ingredients that are more sensitive to processing — ensuring they remain effective and uncompromised. The shots are then bottled and kept refrigerated.

This method lets us deliver powerful, clean formulations with no artificial preservatives, no unnecessary heat, and no shortcuts.

What size are the shots?

Every shot in the Shots of Valour range is 60ml — the optimal size for delivering a meaningful dose of every active ingredient in one hit.

Are there any artificial ingredients, preservatives or added sugar?

Never. Every ingredient in every bottle is natural. No artificial preservatives, no artificial flavourings, no added sugar. What you see on the label is everything that's in the bottle. Nothing hidden.

Where are Shots of Valour made?

Made in the UK by a British co-packing partner with full food safety certification. Every batch is produced to the highest food safety standards because your health actually matters to us.

Where do your ingredients come from?

We source the highest quality natural ingredients available from all around the world. We are actively working toward sourcing as many ingredients as possible from British growers and suppliers as we work towards reducing our carbon footprint. 

What is the shelf life of Shots of Valour?

Best before dates are printed on the bottom of every bottle. Our shots have a shelf life of 6 – 12 months depending on the variety. Full details are on each product page.

How should I store my shots?

Our shots should be kept refrigerated.

For longer storage, they can also be frozen. Many customers choose to freeze them and thaw a few at a time as needed.

If frozen, move 3–4 shots at a time from the freezer to the fridge to thaw. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days. Do not refreeze once thawed.

Natural separation can occur — this is normal. Shake well before drinking.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery 3 – 5 working days. Next day delivery available at checkout. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours of being placed Monday to Friday.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are shown at checkout based on your chosen delivery option. Membership subscribers receive free delivery on every order.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within the UK only. International shipping is something we are working toward — join our mailing list to be notified when it becomes available.

What is the Shots of Valour membership?

Our membership delivers 28 shots of your chosen variety to your door every 28 days so you never have to think about reordering. Members receive free shipping and a saving versus buying packs of 6 individually.

What membership is available?

We offer one simple membership — The Recruit. £49.99 per month, 28 shots of your chosen variety delivered every 28 days, free shipping included. No tiers, no confusion. Just your daily shot on your doorstep every month.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes — cancel anytime with no questions asked. No minimum term, no cancellation fees. We think if you want to leave you should be able to. No hard feelings.

Can I pause my membership? 

Yes — if you need a break you can pause your membership for up to 8 weeks. Just get in touch at least 7 days before your next dispatch date and we will sort it for you.

Can I change my shot variety between deliveries? 

Yes — log into your account and update your preferred shot variety before your next dispatch date. Changes must be made at least 7 days before your next scheduled delivery.

Will you offer other membership options in the future? 

Yes — we are working on additional membership options including mixed variety boxes and longer term plans. Join our mailing list to be notified when these become available. 

How many shots should I take per day? 

One shot per day is the recommended amount. They are designed to be part of your daily routine — not something to take in large quantities. More is not always better with functional ingredients.

When is the best time to take my shot? 

Most of our shots are best taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for maximum absorption. The Neuron Charger is particularly effective before any mentally demanding task.

Can I take more than one variety per day? 

Yes — many of our customers take two different shots daily. Our shots are formulated to complement each other safely.

Are Shots of Valour suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding? 

We recommend consulting your doctor or midwife before taking any functional food supplement during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some ingredients including ginger in large amounts and certain herbal extracts may not be suitable.

Are they suitable for children? 

Shots of Valour are designed for adults. We do not recommend them for children under 16. Shots containing raw honey are not suitable for infants under 12 months under any circumstances.

Can I take them alongside medication? 

If you are taking any prescribed medication please consult your doctor before taking functional health shots. Some ingredients including turmeric and ashwagandha can interact with certain medications.

The Bulwark — Immunity

Why it works: This formula pairs high‑strength ginger (18 ml) and turmeric (18 ml) with 600 mg vitamin C and cold‑pressed citrus for immune and antioxidant support.
